Do you have experience in landscape planning, specifically in landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA)? We are looking for someone to join our specialist team as part of our award-winning design and landscape planning practice.

The role

We seek a talented and enthusiastic Landscape Architect or Planner to join the Place team, focusing on landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) and landscape planning projects.

You may already be chartered or working towards chartership; we offer support and mentoring. Our teams work on diverse development and renewable energy projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Successful candidates will have opportunities to develop their skills across projects including urban redevelopment, Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, wind farms, and housing developments.

Our approach emphasizes iterative analysis and design to inform development mitigation strategies, offering opportunities for creative landscape planning input.

About you

This position mainly focuses on LVIA work. We welcome applications from experienced candidates for senior project management roles, as well as graduates or landscape architects eager to develop in LVIA, with on-the-job training and mentoring available.

You must have excellent English language skills, strong report writing abilities, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a driving license.

Our landscape teams have a strong presence across the UK. We are flexible regarding the office location.
