Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform grass cutting and general grounds maintenance.
• Conduct weed control using appropriate techniques.
• Execute hedge cutting and pruning tasks.
• Assist with tree work and general arboriculture duties if qualified.
• Install and repair fencing as necessary.
• Plant trees and shrubs as directed.
• Participate in soft landscaping and turfing projects.
• Drive to and from sites including North Dorset and the West Midlands.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to the depot in Stroud at day end.

Landscape Operative (Groundworker) 6426

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm; Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm. (Extended hours may be required depending on site location)

Salary: £15.00 per hour (higher rates considered for candidates with arborist experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities of a Landscape Operative

• Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
• Weed control using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Hedge cutting and pruning
• Tree work and general arboriculture duties (if qualified)
• Fencing installation and repairs
• Tree and shrub planting
• Soft landscaping and turfing projects
• Driving to and from sites across a wide geographical area, including North Dorset and the West Midlands
• Ensuring vehicles are returned to the operational depot in Stroud at the end of each day while on agency placement

Key Skills of a Landscape Operative
