Job description

Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity to join a landscaping company based in Preston who have a permanent position for a Landscape Gardener.

Covering the Preston and surrounding areas, we are seeking a gardener who is ideally experienced with both soft and hard landscaping.

Key duties will include:

1. Landscape construction – hard and soft landscape
2. Labouring work for hard landscape construction and artificial grass installation/patio installation and flagging.
3. Soft landscaping construction work including – planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing.
4. Practical gardening tasks including pest and disease control, weed control.
5. Grounds maintenance works on both commercial and domestic contracts.
6. Communicate with manager and colleagues.
7. Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary.
8. Maintain a positive and professional approach.
9. Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations.
10. Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs.
11. Solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issue to the Line Manager.
