Qualifications

  • The candidate should ideally have a BA(Hons) or BSc(Hons) in Landscape Architecture.
  • Completion of a Postgraduate Masters in Landscape Architecture is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a landscape practice is required for Assistant roles.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a range of projects with Architects and Interior Designers.
  • Contribute to design processes in various scales and complexities.
  • Be part of a team, self-motivated, and passionate about design.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our Landscape, Masterplanning & Urban Design Team as an Assistant Landscape Architect or as a Year in Industry Placement.

Education and Experience

The successful candidate should ideally have a BA(Hons) or BSc(Hons) Undergraduate studies in Landscape Architecture. Those seeking an Assistant position will also have completed a Postgraduate Masters in Landscape Architecture and have at least two years out in industry, working in a landscape practice.

Job Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects in an inspiring and integrated design environment, alongside Architects and Interior Designers. Projects will vary in scale and complexity across our core sectors. You will need to be able to work as part of a team, be self-motivated and an enthusiastic candidate with a passion for design and learning.

Required Skills
  • A passion for design and sustainable approaches to design
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with CAD tools (Revit, ArchiCAD, or AutoCAD)
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Additional Skills for Assistant Role
  • Experience with NBS Chorus or similar
  • Experience on projects covering RIBA Work Stages 3–4 (Detail Design and Technical Delivery)
  • Ideally experience with PlantPartner, CS ArtisanRV, ENVIRONMENT for Revit or similar
