Job Description:

The time is NOW.

As part of our ongoing growth in the market, we are seeking Landscape Architects to support and develop our landscape services here at ERM. We’re looking for candidates at Consultant up to Principal Consultant level. In your role with us, you’ll assist and/or manage landscape inputs into a wide range of project types both within the UK and abroad, and work closely with our highly capable multi-disciplinary community.

You will be best connected with your new team if you are seeking a role in Manchester or Edinburgh; however, we can also consider our other office locations in Aberdeen, Glasgow, London, Harrogate, York, Norwich, Pembroke, Cardiff, Bristol, Oxford, and Southampton. We have embraced the benefits of hybrid working, and all work on a Hybrid basis (circa eight days per month in the office).

We offer flexible working to suit your life – need to do the school run? Not a problem! More productive and happy if you work from home a few days per week? Go ahead! Love to travel? Ask about our Cross Border Remote Working! Perhaps you’d like to contribute to non-profit organisations and social enterprises that share our commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable world through the ERM Foundation.

You’ll have 25 days annual leave + public holidays, a 6% pension contribution, twice annual promotion opportunities, an annual salary review and performance-related bonus, private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, an employee assistance programme, volunteering and Give As You Earn opportunities, a travel season ticket loan, a premium account for Calm (the #1 app for sleep and meditation), a Cycle2Work Scheme, plus discounts on gym membership and gift cards for a wide variety of retailers and restaurants. We also offer employees a Safety First, diverse and inclusive culture in which difference is embraced, valued, and celebrated. With a robust career framework in place and 20+ technical communities of global experts you can join, there are great opportunities to advance your career here at ERM.

About you

To be successful in these roles, you’ll need to be degree qualified in Landscape Architecture and a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute or be working towards this. For Senior Consultant +, you’ll need experience preparing LVIA’s; for Principal level, you’ll require more business development and line management experience. A full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK is essential for all roles.
