Bennett and Game Recruitment currently have the pleasure of representing a well-established Town Planning Consultancy based in York, who are seeking an ambitious Landscape Architect to join the team on a remote basis. Our client offers a wide selection of planning services and advice on a mixture of projects within the residential, strategic land, energy, and environmental project across England and Wales.

With 2 offices based throughout the UK, our client has developed a healthy pipeline and a strong clientele. Their steady workload not only stems from repeat business of private clients but also from a sister company. As a Landscape Architect, you will be a vital part of the wider team, working independently on projects from beginning through to conclusion. You will be liaising directly with clients, including building new client relationships and managing existing relationships with client meetings and site visits.

Landscape Architect Position Remuneration
  • Competitive Salary, ranging between £28,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Landscape Architect Position Overview
  • Carrying out a range of tasks including landscape design, landscape planning, and Environmental Impact Assessment
  • Assisting in delivering projects to a high standard within the client brief and budget
  • Working on a range of eco-tourism, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Provide landscape design and landscape management services
  • Prepare plans, illustrative material, and graphic presentations
  • Liaise directly with clients and take clients' instructions
  • Undertake landscape design work as instructed by clients and senior members of staff.
Landscape Architect Position Requirements
  • A degree and post-graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture
  • Minimum of 2+ years industry experience
  • Chartered Member Status of the Landscape Institute (CMLI), or working towards the LI Pathway to Chartership
  • 2+ years' experience completing LVIA assessments
  • Good design and verbal communication skills and ability to advocate on the importance and value of design and place-making
  • High-quality graphic and IT skills including AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ideally a good knowledge of GIS mapping-based systems and 3D modelling software
