Landscape Architect Job in Leeds, West Yorkshire

A Landscape Architect job in Leeds with a leading architecture practice (AJ100), offering the chance to work directly alongside the Principal Landscape Architect and help shape the future of their growing landscape offer.

This is a key hire supporting the delivery of commercial-led projects - including education, industrial, and emerging public realm work - with a strong focus on design and technical stages. Whether you're newly chartered or already operating at a senior level, if you're looking for a new challenge or keen to broaden your experience across different sectors, this might be the one.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support and collaborate with the Architecture team on cross-disciplinary projects
  • Assist with design and delivery work across education, industrial, and emerging public realm schemes
  • Work closely with clients, attend meetings, and contribute to presentations
  • Produce concept designs, technical drawings, and site reports
  • Participate in stakeholder and community engagement sessions
  • Help grow the landscape offer and contribute to future project diversification
  • Be mentored directly by the Principal Landscape Architect.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (or working towards)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in practice
  • A good understanding of technical design and delivery across RIBA Stages 2-6
  • Appreciation of how previous practice experience has shaped your design thinking
  • Interest in commercial landscape architecture (LVIA experience welcome but not essential)
  • Working knowledge of Revit (training can be provided)
  • Software: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (Keyscape, Enscape - desirable)
  • Confident communicator with strong design sensibility and problem-solving skills.
