Are you experienced in a hands-on role involving engines and looking to gain specialist training in the renewable energy sector?

Join a leading waste management company managing over 10 UK sites, specializing in energy from landfill gas, producing over 150 GWh annually, committed to renewable solutions.

This role involves working on gas collection systems, including balancing, fault finding, and mechanical maintenance of engines and equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanical engine experience to become a renewable power generation specialist and build a long-term career with great benefits.

The Role:

  • Monitoring and maintaining gas collection systems on landfill sites.
  • Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.
  • Maintaining power generation assets, engines, and generators.
  • Mechanical and electrical plant maintenance.
  • Participate in 24-hour emergency call-outs (1 in 6 weeks).
  • Occasional travel to Southeast and South Wales.

The Person:

  • Hands-on experience in roles like light maintenance, plant operation, or outdoor work.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Seeking technical training to expand skills.
