Land Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for an experienced Land Surveyor for a client based in Newcastle.

The business are a well-renowned Surveying contractor, working on a variety of projects including; Topographic, Environmental and Hydrographic Surveying. The work is mainly in the North East but there may be times that you would be working further afield.

Main Responsibilities:

• Delivery of on-site survey information, including topographical survey observations and geospatial monitoring observations.
• Ensure setting out and quality assurance of the works is completed in accordance with the contract requirements in a timely manner.
• Management and instruction of Assistant Surveyors, including briefing and guidance.
• Preparing relevant risk assessments with regards to survey works.
• Processing your own surveys with the use of N4CE/AutoCAD.

Experience Required:

• At least 2-3 years experience working as a Land Surveyor within a similar role.
• Ability to present and process data.
• A Geography/Surveying related degree is preferred.
• CSCS and Full Driver's License.
• Previous use of Total Stations and Digital Levels.
• Experience of ArcGIS, N4CE and AutoCAD.

Remuneration:

On offer is a package up to £35,000 (dependant on experience).
