Job description

Land Surveyor Position

Opportunity for an experienced Land Surveyor to work within an established, multi-disciplinary consultancy. The Land Surveyor will manage a variety of projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' experience, capable of specializing in one area or working across multiple areas including Measurement, Laser Scanning, and Mapping surveys. Responsibilities include Topographical, Underground utility, Measured building surveys, 3D laser scanning, Engineering setting out and dimensional control, Photogrammetry, River and Boundary surveys, and CAD drafting in 2D and 3D.

Position Overview
  1. Undertake surveys as directed by the Survey Director
  2. Manage trainees within the team
  3. Process survey data and produce CAD drawings
  4. Ensure quality throughout all processes
  5. Work from the Hertfordshire Office
  6. Deliver projects to specifications and within budget
  7. Liaise with the Survey Director at all project stages
Requirements
  • Proficiency in a wide range of surveys, including Measurement, Laser Scanning, and Mapping
  • Well-versed in modern surveying equipment and software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Valid driving license
