Land Surveyor

Position: Permanent

Location: Derby

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + VAN + Remote working + Overtime

About the Role

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Land Surveyor to join a trusted team of professional surveyors based in Derby. Our client provides a wide range of geospatial measurement services, including topographical surveys, measured building surveys, and underground utility surveys. They utilize the latest technology such as GNSS systems, robotic total stations with reflector-less technology, 3D modelling software, and laser scanners to deliver high-quality services while protecting the environment.

Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Conduct high-standard topographical surveys using modern equipment, including robotic total stations and GNSS systems.
  2. Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and 3D models from survey data.
  3. Perform measured building surveys, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
  4. Work effectively across various environments, including rural and urban sites.
Experience & Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as a Land Surveyor.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 3D modelling software.
  3. Strong knowledge of topographical survey methods and measured building surveys.
  4. Experience with modern survey equipment such as GNSS systems, total stations, and laser scanners.
  5. Valid UK driving license.
