Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking a Land Survey Data Manager to be part of the Net Zero Teesside project in Redcar. The ideal candidate will manage survey data and integrate it into the technical project lifecycle, ensuring effective data management practices are maintained.

Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamic and experienced Land Survey Data Manager to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside project based at our new site in Redcar and Cleveland.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing data relating to survey models, machine control, data collection/or monitoring.

  • Work with IT to provide appropriate solutions for the project.

  • Ensuring resilience of survey data, storage devices/solutions for project.

  • Manage subcontractor interface and 3rd party data collection where applicable.

  • Ensure that survey data is input into the design solution as part of the technical project lifecycle.

  • Manage site records of all data related tasks, including survey data management plan.


Who we're looking for

  • Specialist knowledge of survey related data management software.

  • Interfacing with design partners.

  • Knowledge of and checking design deliverables in various digital formats.

  • Knowledge of setting up and maintaining of machine control systems.

  • Knowledge and experience in geodetic requirements for construction projects.

  • Knowledge, experience, and skill of implementing up to date survey data reality capture methods, inputting data and managing within design models.
