Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is seeking an experienced Land Rover Technician for a hands-on role in Bowburn, County Durham. You will service, repair and diagnose a range of Land Rover vehicles, supported by TOPIx information and Autologic diagnostic tools.

You will work with a small, skilled team reporting to the workshop owner or service advisor, with a structured week and opportunities for development and training.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing Land Rover vehicles.
• Diagnostic fault-finding experience.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Desirable: Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification.
• Desirable: recent diagnostic experience including electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on Land Rover vehicles.
• Perform general mechanical repairs as required.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Undertake fault-finding, including electrical diagnostics when required.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to complete repairs and servicing.

Job description

Land Rover Technician | Bowburn, County Durham | Full Time | Up to £41,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Our client is an independent automotive specialist focusing on Land Rover and Range Rover servicing, repairs and diagnostics. With a small, experienced workshop team, the business offers a hands-on working environment where technicians can benefit from the knowledge and support of experienced colleagues.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Land Rover Technician to join their small workshop team. You will carry out servicing, general repairs and diagnostics across a range of Land Rover vehicles, with access to Land Rover TOPIx technical information, Opus Autologic diagnostic equipment and technical support when required.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, reporting to the workshop owner or service advisor as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance on Land Rover vehicles
• Completing general mechanical repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults
• Undertaking fault finding, including electrical diagnostics where required
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to complete repairs and servicing

Requirements

Essential

• Experience carrying out general repairs and servicing on Land Rover vehicles
• Diagnostic experience and fault-finding ability
• A reliable and punctual approach to work

Desirable

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent automotive qualification
• Recent diagnostic experience
• Electrical diagnostic and fault-finding experience
