Job summary

Talent Finder is assisting a small independent automotive specialist in Bowburn, County Durham, to recruit an experienced Land Rover Technician. You will service, repair and diagnose a range of Land Rover vehicles, with access to TOPIx information, Autologic diagnostics and technical support.

You will work alongside seasoned technicians, reporting to the workshop owner or service advisor. A salary of up to £41,000 per annum and benefits are on offer, with overtime and a potential bonus in Dec.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing Land Rover vehicles.
• Diagnostic fault-finding ability with electrical diagnostics.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on Land Rover vehicles.

Land Rover Technician | Bowburn, County Durham | Full Time | Up to £41,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm

Our client is an independent automotive specialist focusing on Land Rover and Range Rover servicing, repairs and diagnostics. With a small, experienced workshop team, the business offers a hands‑on working environment where technicians can benefit from the knowledge and support of experienced colleagues.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Land Rover Technician to join their small workshop team. You will carry out servicing, general repairs and diagnostics across a range of Land Rover vehicles, with access to Land Rover TOPIx technical information, Opus Autologic diagnostic equipment and technical support when required.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, reporting to the workshop owner or service advisor as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance on Land Rover vehicles
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults
• Undertaking fault finding, including electrical diagnostics where required
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to complete repairs and servicing

Requirements

• Experience carrying out general repairs and servicing on Land Rover vehicles
• Diagnostic experience and fault‑finding ability
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent automotive qualification
• Electrical diagnostic and fault‑finding experience
