Job summary

Sytner Land Rover Conwy is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join the accounts team. You will support day-to-day functions from ledgers to cash postings, and assist the Dealership Accountant and management with ad-hoc duties.

We value accuracy, organisation and the ability to work to deadlines in a small team; some weekend work may be required to maintain service levels for customers across the dealership.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting routines in a dealership environment.
• Stock checks and month-end reconciliations experience.
• Familiarity with CDK Kerridge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts functions from ledgers to cash postings.
• Assist the Dealership Accountant and management with ad-hoc duties.
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts to support customers.

About the role

Sytner Land Rover Conwy has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As a Sytner Accounts Assistant, you will support the day to day functions of the accounts department from the sales and purchase ledgers to the daily cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team in other ad-hoc duties where required.

Sytner Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays – Friday; however, this sometimes can include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About You

Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations are essential. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office would is not essential but would be advantageous.

Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.
