Do you have experience finding land in the Devon and Somerset areas, specifically from Exeter to Bristol?

Are you seeking a new and exciting challenge with access to a generous land budget?

We are working for a privately owned and successful developer in the Exeter area who is looking to appoint a Land Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the director, you will be one of two land managers responsible for securing land deals and new sites across the South West region. Your role will involve identifying, appraising, and securing sites, overseeing projects from inception to completion, aligned with the company's short-term and long-term development plans.

What’s needed:

• Ideally qualified with a recognised RICS degree or a relevant degree related to real estate, land, property, or town planning.
• A proven track record of securing sites for a housing developer or developers.
• Experience supporting successful planning applications, including submission and negotiation.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Established connections and contacts in the South West region, preferably between Exeter and Somerset.
• Detailed knowledge of legislation related to land acquisition processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A driven, motivated, and determined work ethic.

Due to the target area, it is preferable to be located between Exeter and Bristol to effectively service the Somerset area and attend the Exeter office regularly.
