Job description

We are looking for a qualified, passionate Land Development (Site/Civil) Engineering Technical Lead. This position will report out of our Largo, MD office location, where we provide a hybrid work environment. This is an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in the organization's growing Site/Civil group.

You'll spend your time:

  1. Solving complex design and calculation problems using industry standard software
  2. Developing quality deliverables (plans, calculations, written reports) for diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development
  3. Providing mentorship and technical guidance to the project team
  4. Applying ATCS’ Quality Management Plan

About you:

  1. You hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering
  2. You hold professional registration (P.E.) in Maryland; Virginia also desired
  3. You have at least 10 years of land development design experience with Maryland clients/projects
  4. You are a self-starter who is eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  5. You are well-versed in civil engineering design including: stormwater, utilities, paving, roadway design, grading
  6. You are proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $99,000 to $148,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary. In addition to compensation, ATCS offers outstanding, employee-focused benefits for you and your family. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits coverage on the first day of the month following their start date.
