Job Title: Land/Defence Project Manager

Position Description

The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a leading IT Systems Integrator. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with Land domain experience to join us full-time on a permanent basis. The role involves managing projects related to the UK MoD's Land domain, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget, and engaging with clients and stakeholders effectively.

Your future duties include:

1. Deliver projects to baseline, managing finances, schedules, risks, and changes.
2. Interact with clients, end-users, and partners, demonstrating strong communication skills.
3. Lead project teams and support account growth through change management and new business proposals.

Required qualifications:

• Strong project management skills with experience in complex project delivery.
• Experience managing IT systems and software services for UK MoD.
• Excellent commercial awareness and client communication skills.
• Proven track record in risk and issue management, financial oversight, and team leadership.
• Experience managing subcontractors and using project management tools.

Highly desirable:

• Formal project management qualification (e.g., APMP, Prince2).
• Knowledge of MoD procurement policies and strategies.
• UK military veteran or experience in Land capability procurement.
• Degree in Science, Engineering, or Computer Science.

Workstyle: Hybrid, primarily UK-based, with potential abroad opportunities. Regular presence at CGI and client sites required.
