We cater to a wide range of needs: from traditional telecom applications and webscale service provider infrastructures to offshore oil and gas projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct site surveys including earth resistivity measurements
2. Engineering design of Land Cable and System Earth installations
3. Production of drawings for installation including Land Route Diagrams
4. As-built reporting of site surveys & installation
5. Unrepeatered system testing, both on land and at sea
6. Jointing and testing of Land Cable, Beach Joints and System Earths
7. Cable Termination to ASN Terminal Station Equipment
8. Liaison with the Calais cable factory and Project teams
9. Detailing procedures and completing H&S Risk Assessments

Training provided by ASN:

• Type-C ASN Land Joint Qualification
• Fibre-Optic testing & cable-handling
• Laser Safety, Power Safety & Confined Spaces training

Wanted Profile

Experience / Qualifications / Aptitude

• Suitable for recent completion of electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or experience in telecommunications installation
• Practical & hands-on aptitude and willingness to travel
