Summary
£62,000 - £90,000 per annum | 35 days’ holiday (pro-rata) | 10% in-store discount | Company Car

This role offers you the opportunity to oversee the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent, managing the full asset lifecycle from site identification, negotiation, acquisition, planning, construction support, to ongoing asset management.

You will build relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, agents, and developers, leading projects from concept to completion. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Note: You are expected to work at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire land for new stores
• Conduct site inspections and development appraisals
• Manage legal and planning due diligence
• Oversee planning applications from submission to approval
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects
• Develop relationships with local authorities, landlords, tenants, and developers
• Manage the full development and planning process
• Handle real estate management of assets

Requirements

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
• Degree (2:2 or higher), relevant discipline preferred
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, or town planning
• MRICS qualification preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset and multi-tasking ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide
