Lancashire Wildlife Trust is seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Officer for the Lancashire Peat Partnership at Head Office in Preston. You will assist with peatland surveys and oversee restoration work.
This role offers hands-on experience in habitat restoration, project design and field surveys, with about three field days per week from August to March.

The Lancashire Peat Partnership are recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to work as part of the team, helping with surveys and overseeing ongoing peatland restoration work.
This is an exciting opening for anyone looking to further develop a career in peatland restoration and management. You will gain hands on experience in habitat restoration, project design and survey work, while also having the opportunity to work with partners, external landowners and volunteers.
The team require someone who can embrace the challenges the role will bring, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and who enjoys working outdoors, as you will be required to work an average of 3 days in the field per week between August-March.
In return we offer 28 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
