Thomas Franks is seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at a prestigious school location in Lancashire. This term-time only role supports catering for pupils and staff, with a 40-hour week across Monday to Friday and a 35-week year.

The post offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.68) and free on-site parking. You will bring experience from fast-paced kitchens at CDP or junior sous chef level, work with fresh seasonal ingredients, and showcase your creativity within our brand standards

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Responsabilités

• To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

Salary: £13.68
Hours: 40h per week

A co-educational private school in Blackburn, Lancashire for children aged from 3 years to 18 years. Catering for 850 students and teachers for lunch. There is a considerable hospitality offering at this location. This is a term-time only contract working 35 weeks a year and operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefit of this location is free parking on site.

We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Lancashire.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
