Lamination Machine Operator/Setter
Wigan
£30,264 p/a - £31,928 including Bonus
Monday - Friday - weekly rotating shifts between 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm

Our client is an innovative growing company within the Glass Industry. They have won numerous awards including “The Queens Award for Export”. As an ever-expanding company, they are always looking for enthusiastic people to join their team. This position has become available due to a recent increase in capacity to meet growing demand.

The Role

You will be required to run various modern profile lamination machines as well as:

- Perform size changes and basic maintenance.

- Quality control checks will be an important part of the daily routine.

- Adhering to Health and Safety procedures.

Requirements:

- Proficient in English language.

- GCSE's or equivalent qualifications including Mathematics and English.

- NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing operations or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.

- Applicants must also have at least one years' experience in operating factory machinery.

- Base pay - £15.52 per hour based on a 37.5-hour week.

- 5.5% discretionary bonus

- Currently, there is also a profit related bonus scheme which is based on both personal and company performance as a percentage of salary paid in two instalments throughout the year.
