Reports to: Laminating Supervisor

Purpose of the job:

This role supports the laminating department by assisting the supervisor, managing training, reducing scrap, and ensuring quality. The leader will motivate and develop the cell to meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Responsibilities

• Check molds and sign off before laminating
• Verify first plies and bags with allocated operatives
• Ensure paperwork completion
• Participate in handover of new parts
• Address issues with new jobs promptly
• Train the team on new parts as needed
• Assist in morning break-out
• Record job progress electronically

Quality and Standards

• Ensure understanding and implementation of quality standards
• Achieve 100% plan adherence
• Maintain high-quality standards, aiming for right first time
• Manage daily needs of the laminating cell
