Dereham Hockey Club is a well-established and welcoming club based in Norfolk, with a proud history of competitive and social hockey. We run multiple men’s, ladies’, and junior teams, and are committed to developing players of all abilities in a supportive, ambitious, and community-driven environment.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Head Ladies Coach to lead our Ladies 1st team and support the development of both the 1st and 2nd teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a growing and enthusiastic section of our club.

Role Overview:

• Lead coach for the Ladies 1st Team, overseeing training and match day coaching.
• Deliver weekly training sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, working with both the 1st and 2nd teams.
  Coach the Ladies 1st Team on Saturdays at both home and away fixtures throughout the season.
• Collaborate with team captains and club committee to support player development and team progression.
• Provide clear, structured coaching plans that encourage both individual and team improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous coaching experience, ideally at a senior club or performance level.
• An energetic and motivating coaching style with strong communication skills.
• An understanding of player development across a range of abilities.
  Minimum England Hockey coaching qualifications (or equivalent) preferred.
• A commitment to fostering a positive team culture both on and off the pitch.

Pay will be based on the candidate’s level of qualification and experience. This will be discussed during the interview process.
