Job description

Brentwood Hockey Club is seeking a Ladies 1st team coach. The Ladies 1st team competes in Division 2 South East.

We are looking for a talented coach to build on the success of our previous coach. The ideal candidate will lead a committed and passionate group of hockey players to the next level. Reliability and drive to achieve team goals are essential.

Brentwood Hockey Club currently has 5 ladies teams and 5 men’s teams. We are a sociable, friendly, and family-oriented club committed to growth and improvement across all teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality coaching sessions and plans during training on Tuesdays from 8-10pm.
• Coach the Ladies 1st team during friendly and league matches, both home and away.
• Provide development feedback to players and individuals, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Ladies 1/2s captains.
• Contribute to the development of youth players.

Requirements:

• Level 2 coaching qualification and at least 2-3 years of coaching experience.
• Attendance at a Safeguarding Children Workshop within the last 3 years or willingness to attend at the earliest opportunity.
