Job description

Brentwood Hockey Club is looking for a Ladies 1st team coach. The Ladies 1st team plays in Division 2 South East.

We are seeking a talented coach to continue the excellent work of our previous coach. This individual needs to be reliable and driven to achieve the team's goals and take a committed and passionate group of hockey players to the next level.

Brentwood Hockey Club currently has 5 ladies' teams and 5 men’s teams. We are a sociable, friendly, and family-oriented club, aiming to grow and improve all of our teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role is a paid position which includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Delivering high-level coaching plans and sessions to both teams at training on Tuesdays from 8-10 pm.
  2. Coaching the Ladies 1st team for friendly and league games, both home and away.
  3. Providing development feedback to the squad and individuals, as well as showing them ways in which they can improve.
  4. Working alongside our Ladies 1/2s captains.
  5. Developing youth players.
Requirements:

Ideally, candidates must have level 2 coaching qualifications and at least 2-3 years of experience.

Must have attended a Safeguarding Children Workshop in the last 3 years (or be willing to attend at the next possible opportunity).

Pay is competitive and will be linked to experience and coaching qualifications.
