LabVIEW Software Developer / Didcot, Oxfordshire / £55 per hour (outside IR35)

We are seeking a LabVIEW Software Developer to join a small project development team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and debugging LabVIEW software for Raman Spectroscopy products. You will work on both new and existing products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, test, and debug LabVIEW software for Raman Spectroscopy products.
  2. Contribute to new product development and improvement projects.
  3. Follow Agile development practices using Jira.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and troubleshoot integration issues.
  5. Maintain code quality through documentation and unit testing.
  6. Participate in continuous improvement activities and ongoing learning.
  7. Ensure software compliance with regulatory and security standards.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Certified LabVIEW Architect, Developer, or similar experience.
  • Typically 4+ years of LabVIEW development experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented LabVIEW programming.
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQLite) and source control (Git, Git-Flow) is beneficial.

This is an 18-month temporary contract.
