Labourer with Driving Licence

Job description

Hays are working with a local contractor looking for a labourer with a valid driving licence. Your new company You will be joining an established trades team at one of the largest employers in the Edinburgh area. Due to recently securing a long-term contract to do upgrades on domestic properties, they are looking to add 2 x labourers who can drive to assist with this project.

Your new role You will be working in a 2-person squad cleaning gutters, and where required, removing and replacing downpipes/gutters to upgrade domestic properties in the Edinburgh area:Duties may include: Clearing out gutters/downpipes and completing minor repairs on any roof defects Where required, help with the installation of new guttering/downpipe/roofing systems, including laying out materials, measuring and cutting them to size, Carry tools and roofing materials up ladders to the work site on the roof Apply an understanding of health & safety at all times Clean up debris and materials from job sites, leaving a tidy finish. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be an experienced labourer who is used to working alongside trades people, ideally roofers. Due to the nature of the work, you will need to have a driving licence to be considered for this role as a van will be provided for work purposes.

You do not need a CSCS Card to be considered for the position. What you'll get in return You will be offered a long-term, ongoing contract with a large company in the Edinburgh area. You will receive weekly pay with the option of accrued annual leave and receive regular updates from your Hays consultant.
