About the Role
As a Labourer, you'll be a key part of our Voids and Minor Works Team, helping to prepare around 600 council properties across Northumberland each year for re-letting. Based from Cowley Road Depot, you'll work primarily in the Blyth and Cramlington areas. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, and ideal for someone practical, reliable, and committed to doing quality work that directly benefits tenants and communities.

The Staff Bank is managed by the Temporary Staffing Team, who you can contact via temporarystaffing@northumberland.gov.uk. You will be subject to Northumberland County Council's pre-employment checking process which includes a minimum of 2 references covering the past 3 years, health clearance and proof of right to work in the UK and depending on the assignment you may be required to undertake a DBS check.
