Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Cleaning / Manufacturing Operative to join a leading manufacturer at their production facility in Warrington.

If you have experience in industrial cleaning, product manufacturing, production and general labouring, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview: As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and manufacturing a variety of covers made from different fabrics and materials.

Your tasks will include using hand tools, cleaning equipment, and machinery such as:

  • Hand and Floor Welders
  • Industrial Sewing Machines
  • High-Frequency Welding Machines
  • Washers

You will also be involved in processes including:

  • Cleaning
  • Measuring
  • Cutting
  • Sewing
  • Eyeleting

Training and Development:

The successful candidate will receive full product training and will be expected to complete a comprehensive training program within two years.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A team player, able to work in a small team dynamic
  • Familiar with the requirements of general labouring
  • A natural problem solver with the ability to identify faults
  • Capable of working independently after training
  • Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
  • Highly detail-oriented

Hours of Work:

Between August and March: Backshift 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (10 hours + 30 minutes unpaid break), Monday to Thursday

Between April and July: Early shift 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (10 hours + 30 minutes unpaid break), Monday to Thursday
