Job description

We are looking to recruit a Cleaner / Shunter / Fueller for our Speke Depot. The main purpose of the role is to maintain a safe and efficient 7-day bus operation and to maintain high-level Company cleaning and presentation standards.

  1. Re-fuel vehicle fleet in readiness for next days' service.
  2. Ensure the fuelling area is clean and any hazards are removed prior to start of work.
  3. Report any vehicles with fuelling problems and V.O.R. any that are not fuelled.
  4. Clean and dispose of any waste according to correct procedures after fuelling and ensure fuel sheet is returned to office and that closing readings are entered onto next day's fuel issue sheet.
  5. Clean vehicles to comply with Arriva Standards.
  6. Carry out daily sweep, daily, weekly and monthly interior cleans to Company standards and complete all associated paperwork correctly.
  7. Park all buses as per parking plan to enable smooth deployment of buses for the next day's service.

Required Skills:

Hours of work: Mon - Sat 15.30 - 22.00

Salary: £14.19 / h
