Job summary

Thorn Baker Group in Lewisham is seeking a reliable Labourer for a short-term construction project starting Wednesday 30th September 2026. The role involves assisting the site team with general labouring duties on a busy Lewisham site.

You will move and handle materials, load deliveries, assist trades, keep the site clean, follow health and safety procedures, and stay for all three 12-hour shifts.

Hours: 12-hour shifts daily

The Role

The successful candidate will assist the site team with general labouring duties throughout the project.

Duties may include:

• General site labouring


• Moving and handling materials


• Loading and unloading deliveries


• Assisting trades on site


• Keeping the site clean and tidy


• Helping with site preparation and housekeeping


• Following site health and safety procedures


• Supporting the site team with any other general duties required

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card


• Previous construction experience
