Job summary

United Living Group is seeking a site operative to maintain a clean, safe working area on site in Greater London. You will load and organise materials, assist with switchgear installation, and follow supervisors' instructions.

The role requires CCNSG qualification, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel and work overtime including away from home. You will operate basic hand tools and comply with H&S regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum CCNSG qualification or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel at short notice, including long distances.
• Team player with willingness to work overtime and away from home regularly.
• Awareness of H&S regulations on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe working area on site.
• Load, unload, move and organise materials, tools and equipment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and qualified engineers.
• Assist with the installation of switchgear.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment safely.
• Report hazards, defects, incidents or near misses promptly.
• Support general housekeeping and waste disposal on site.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Site Supervisor or Engineering Manager.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Comply with site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations.
