Astute's EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Labourer on a 6 months contract basis for their Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based

The General Operative positions come with an hourly rate of 16.17

Key skills and responsibilities:

• Perform general and specialized construction tasks, such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, or welding, as required.
• Operate power tools and equipment, including saws, drills, forklifts, and other machinery, safely and effectively.
• Assist in the installation, repair, or maintenance of structures, fixtures, and systems (e.g., electrical, HVAC, or plumbing).
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute tasks accurately.
• Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring equipment is organized and maintained.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions for on-site challenges.

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Site Labourer roles:

• Stewartby, Bedfordshire.
• 16.17 per hour (Inside IR35)
• Start date - July 2025
