Job summary

Ashton Recruitment is seeking 2 manual labourers to support a quick, factory clean-up project in Belfast. The role is temporary for approximately 3 weeks with early start times and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

duties include shovelling wet dust, moving materials to a skip, and following health & safety procedures; PPE provided. This position ends with the project duration and does not lead to permanent employment.

Manual Labourer - Factory Clean-Up

Ashton Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 x Manual Labourers to assist with an urgent clean-up project at our client's factory.

Job Title: Manual Labourer
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temporary - approximately 3 weeks
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30

This is a short-term, labour-intensive role assisting with a factory clean-up project. The work will involve shovelling wet dust into wheelbarrows, moving it to the skip and emptying it safely.

Please note that this position is only for the duration of the clean-up project and will not lead to a permanent position within the factory.

Your duties will include:

• Shovelling wet dust and waste into wheelbarrows
• Moving loaded wheelbarrows to the skip
• Emptying materials safely into the skip
• General manual clean-up duties
• Following site instructions and health & safety procedures
• Keeping the work area clean and safe

Essential Criteria:

• Physically fit and capable of carrying out heavy manual work
• Comfortable with repetitive, labour-intensive duties
• Good spoken and written understanding of English
• Able to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
• Reliable and available for the full duration of the assignment

Additional Information:

• All required PPE will be provided
• This is a temporary position for approximately 3 weeks
