The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced midwife to join its supportive leadership team. You will work as an autonomous clinical midwife, advising staff within the clinical area, acting as an effective role model and leader.
The post holder will be responsible for the efficient running of services, developing and implementing strategies to improve the health of women and children in line with the Public Health agenda. The successful candidate will ensure a high standard of clinical care through efficient resource use, liaising with other agencies, organizing, supervising practice, and teaching staff and students.
You will actively seek service user and family feedback to enable learning and support change. Promoting excellence in midwifery practice, you will act as a champion for safety, escalation, and multidisciplinary communication. Participation in the on-call rota is expected. You will be committed to reflective practice and ongoing learning.
