What you become part of:

East Kilbride Operations produce 20 million raw cases of drinks per year across their 4 production lines - 2 glass bottle, 2 PET bottle (plastic). This is the only site in GB that produces our Appletiser products in glass. There will be 220 employees by the end of 2025; site experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in East Kilbride and further afield across other GB sites and pan-Euro-pacific locations.

What to expect:

You will report to the Process Production Manager and be responsible for leading labour planning with site responsible for delivery of the site production plan and day to day workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the development and standardisation (where possible) of the labour planning and reporting tools across site.
  • Accountability for the accuracy of labour plan in line with operational/business needs.
  • Modelling and analysis of working patterns/holidays to meet the needs of the business.
  • Driving and enhancing relationships with temporary labour providers including leading meeting routines, ensuring accuracy of reporting and finances.
  • Reconciliation and raising of PO’s/invoice for temporary labour costs.
  • Support the site with annualised hours tracking.
  • Plan and maintain annual rota.
  • Ongoing and year end annualised hours calculation and optimisation.
  • Analysis of actual financial performance vs budgets and providing mitigation/reasoning.
  • Responsible for data extraction and interpretation for Manufacturing based analysis.
  • Identification of improvement opportunities and offering solution.
  • Maintain and report on Power BI Labour Dashboard.
  • Maintenance and development of the Labour Management system DLM.

Skills & Essentials:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior experience in a labour planner role, or similar
  • Accomplished user of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI)
  • Ability to maintain and make sound, timely decisions, without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • A natural networker, building and sustaining a range of working relationships across multiple functions and levels with ease
  • Great organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem solve
