Job Description:

We're working with a client based in The West Midlands, seeking a Labour & Performance Operations Manager. The role reports to an Operations Director within the retail operations team.

The Labour & Performance Optimisation Manager is responsible for managing labour to optimize performance within stores. Key duties include driving labour efficiencies to deliver positive returns against budget and year-over-year improvements, owning and developing the labour model, mastering systems, evolving reporting, and collaborating closely with field and support functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working across different functions with a passion for data-led decision making to influence store strategy.
  • Being the gatekeeper of store profitability, ensuring initiatives are implemented effectively for maximum impact.
  • Driving store efficiencies to meet financial targets and improve performance annually.
  • Developing and managing the labour model, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Managing store workload capacity to ensure sustainability and profitability during new initiatives or projects, avoiding overloading stores.
  • Understanding retail operations within stores is a plus but not essential.

The ideal candidate should be able to work from the West Midlands offices and adapt quickly within a fast-growing team. The company offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
