About

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK's best workplaces, as measured by the Great Place to Work Institute. Based at our Newmachar site, we are currently recruiting temporary harvest workers to join our team on a full-time basis during the harvest season (July to September / October). The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver high standards of production, quality, and customer service across grain storage and handling, while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Operating the site's weighbridge facility
2. Providing excellent customer service to lorry drivers and farmers visiting the site
3. Taking seed samples from lorries
4. Conducting basic laboratory analysis of seed intake samples
5. Conducting basic laboratory analysis of inline production samples
6. Assisting with seed analysis
7. Assisting with general yard management
8. Performing general administration and record keeping
9. Maintaining cleanliness and performing maintenance of operational areas
