Job Description
  • Job Title: Laboratory Technician

  • Job Type: Temporary - 12 months

  • Location: Hebden Bridge

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

  • Salary: £23,868 pa

  • Industry: Health & Nutrition

As a Laboratory Technician, you will assist the team in delivering efficient, high-quality food allergen and authenticity analysis using ELISA and DNA/protein-based methodologies.

  • Accurately follow laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures for sample preparation and extraction.
  • Work to strict deadlines to ensure compliance.
  • Complete all laboratory documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Assist with sample registration using internal systems as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role has experience in:

  • Knowledge of allergen testing in food - highly advantageous
  • Previous laboratory experience - essential
  • Qualifications in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biology - essential
