Job summary

The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their microbiology department at Shrewsbury.

The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques.

Days Per Week:Monday to Friday (14:30 - 23:00)
Contract:Full Time and PermanentAnnual Salary:£25,834 per annum

The day to day

  • To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
  • Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
  • Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
  • To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • To keep accurate records.
