We have an exciting opportunity at our Goole manufacturing site to work in the newly refurbished QC labs supporting production. We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in and passion for science and the desire to achieve a professionally recognised qualification as a Lab Technician.

As a member of our quality and control department, you will support the lab staff and Technical Manager. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of test samples, recording test results, and providing quality control support to manufacturing departments while undertaking online training courses.

Duties

• Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards in the laboratory
• Perform analysis on products according to defined methods and SOPs
• Coordinate with Manufacturing on QC activities
• Prepare samples for external labs for quarterly tests and customer requirements
• Record and report analytical results to QC staff
• Maintain laboratory reagents and consumables
• Arrange for correct disposal of laboratory waste
• Maintain lab chemical stocks
• Review and maintain Lab COSHH & SOP documentation
