We have an exciting opportunity at our Goole manufacturing site to work in the newly refurbished QC labs supporting production. We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in and passion for science and the desire to achieve a professionally recognised qualification as a Lab Technician.

As a member of our quality and control department, you will support the lab staff and Technical Manager. Your responsibilities will include preparing test samples, recording test results, and providing quality control support to manufacturing departments, while undertaking online training courses.

Duties

• Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards in the laboratory
• Perform product analysis according to defined methods and SOPs
• Coordinate with manufacturing on QC activities
• Prepare samples for external labs and customers
• Record and report analytical results
• Maintain laboratory reagents and consumables levels
• Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste
• Maintain lab chemical stocks
• Review and update COSHH & SOP documentation
