Umbrella Rate: A GBP 17.03/hr (Inside IR35)

What You Will Do
  1. Administer samples for scientific analysis by creating detailed records and assigning analytical tests.
  2. Allocate samples for analysis while maintaining chain of custody for controlled samples.
  3. Input results with accuracy and liaise effectively with clients to ensure high-quality customer service.
  4. Assist with routine checks, calibrations, and control documentation to ensure analysts have access to the most current versions.
  5. Uphold laboratory quality standards through administrative tasks and housekeeping activities.
  6. Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, ensuring all safety and quality actions are completed promptly.
What You Will Bring
  • Experience in a relevant scientific discipline and a keen eye for detail.
  • Competency in using software packages, including MS Office applications.
  • Experience with basic lab equipment, preferably gained in a scientific environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple activities concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside a proactive and accountable attitude.
