ALS Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support their team in Trowbridge. You will test finished food products and ingredients using a range of analytical techniques and assist the sample receipt team on weekends.

The position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to follow documented procedures, and good communication. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £26,867 with weekend hours Sunday to Thursday.

Laboratory Technician - Food - Trowbridge

The Role

ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their team at ALS Trowbridge.

The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques and support our sample receipt department on weekends.

About the Position

Days Per Week: Sunday to Thursday (12:30 - 21:00)

Contract: Full Time and Permanent

Annual Salary: £26,867

The Day to Day

• To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
• Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
• Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
• Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
• To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
• To keep accurate records.

• Previous experience working in a fast paced environment.
