As the Plating Shop Lab Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of electroplating processes, conducting laboratory analyses, managing chemical maintenance, and overseeing the operation of the effluent treatment plant. Your role will ensure that all processes meet environmental regulations and are carried out safely and efficiently.

What do you need?

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Chemistry, Science, or Mathematics.

  • Previous experience in a chemistry lab environment, ideally within manufacturing or process industries.

  • Understanding of electroplating processes and effluent handling.

  • Familiarity with operating equipment like spectrophotometers, MP-AES, and HPLC.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems would be a plus.

  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations and environmental compliance.
