Qualifications

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment, especially regarding Health and Safety.
  • Legally able to drive in the UK.
  • A good understanding of testing methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control testing using approved methods.
  • Accurately enter and report test results in the LIMS database.
  • Adhere to ISO standards and Health & Safety procedures.

Hours of work

38 hours per week. Week 1 = 7am - 7pm working Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Weds and Thu off). Week 2 = 7am - 7pm working Weds and Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off). Week 3 = 7pm – 7am working Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Weds and Thu off). Week 4 = 7pm – 7am working Weds and Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off).

Step into a hands-on role where accuracy and responsibility go hand in hand. As a Laboratory Technician (Level 3) in our QC team, you\'ll perform essential testing using approved methods to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. The job role
  • Perform routine quality control testing using approved methods and procedures.
  • Accurately enter and report test results in the LIMS database.
  • Identify, report, and act on any issues affecting test accuracy or sample integrity.
  • Test internal reference samples and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Adhere to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards and all Health & Safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory environment in line with 5S principles.
  • Conduct “Take 5” safety assessments and follow risk and COSHH guidance.
  • Support continuity of QC operations, including potential to deputise for Shift Supervisors when required.
