Be our next Laboratory Technician!

We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician to join our Materials Testing group in our London, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Carrying out aggregate, asphalt, soil, and concrete tests within our Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Laboratories;
• Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;
• Assisting the management team in laboratory certification and record keeping;
• Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;
• Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.

What your experience looks like

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete testing Laboratory;
• Possess a current CCIL/CSA Certification for concrete (field and laboratory) an asset;
• Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates/Asphalt/Soils an asset;
• Knowledge in Physical Properties and Petrographic Number determinations an asset;
• Experience with Marshall and Superpave testing;
• Strong focus on Health and Safety;
• Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
• Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;
• Ability to work overtime in peak periods;
• Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;
• Proficiency with the Windows operating system, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel;
• Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently.
