Laboratory support worker (early morning shift)

I am currently recruiting for a laboratory support staff for a water testing laboratory based in Livingston. Please note the working hours are Tuesday to Saturday 5am-1.00PM. This is a temporary role.

Key responsibilities

• Receipt and registration of samples.
• Preparing samples.
• Analysing water samples.
• LIMS coding and logging, ensuring the system and sample logs are up-to-date.
• Flexibility to do admin and aid in the laboratory when needed.
• To carry out all activities in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in working within warehouse, production or similar busy environment – full training would be provided.
• Science graduates are welcome to apply but please note that this role will be within sample reception team with occasional tasks in laboratory analysis department.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent attention to detail.
• Candidates must have full eligibility to work in UK without restrictions.
